For the internal assessment in Psychology, my team and I decided to recreate two psychological studies, Alter et al. (2007) and Bartlett (1932), in order to conduct a memory experiment. I related this project to the IB Learner Skill Inquirer because when conducting a psychological study there is always and inquiry going on to further understand the human mind. In the report, I deepen into our results and the meaning behind them, through an analysis of our experiment and both studies the experiment was inspired by. Since this was a long project, I remember being stressed and anxious but I also remember the immense satisfaction when I completed the assignment. This assignment was a great way to prepare me for the future, as I am planning to major in psychology in college and will probably be conducting studies there. This was a great introduction to what awaits me in my further academic endeavors.
